02438348033 Fundamental requirements for media in the fight against wrong, hostile views in Vietnam
Abstract: In the current context of information explosion, it is difficult to distinguish authentic from fake and disguised news. Taking advantage of this blur, hostile forces intensify the attack to our society to stain the regime, denounce the government, stir public confusion and reduce people’s trust in the political system. Media is an important instrument of the Party and government in leading public opinion, combating wrong, hostile views to protect Party’s ideological foundation and the regime. The author discussed fundamental requirements for media in the fight against wrong, hostile views in Vietnam.

Abstract: Ho Chi Minh's cultural philosophy is a system of scientific, revolutionary and theoretical viewpoints on culture and the construction of Vietnamese culture. It resulted from creative application and development of Marxism-Leninism into the specific conditions of Vietnam. It inherited and developed the nation's traditional values while acquiring humanity's cultural essence. This is a heritage of tremendous value both theoretically and practically for Vietnam's revolution. In this article, the author analyzes the essence of Ho Chi Minh's cultural philosophy and clarifies certain fundamental orientations of Vietnamese Communist Party on building an advanced culture imbued with the cultural identity in current conditions.

Communist Review - It is noted in the Documents of 12th National Congress that there still remains several issues that need practical summarizing and theoretical researching for further clarification as regards theory on socialism and the way to socialism. After pointing out the limitations and weaknesses, the 12th Congressional Documents emphasize that those limitations and weaknesses are mainly due to the insufficient awareness of the socialist-oriented market economy. To clarify this issue, it is necessary to understand the history of the birth, development and predicted decline of the market economy and answer questions related to this topic.
