Education and scientific research are two fundamental tasks of each higher education institution. In recent years, the scientific research at the Academy of Journalism and Communication (Academy) has gained important achievements, giving strong support to education and training. However, there are still some shortcomings and issues in this field. This article analyzed the issues and proposed some solutions to enhance the quality of scientific research at the Academy in the coming time.

Communist Review - The Communist Party of Vietnam has steadfastly and consistently pursued its orientation and policy on human and cultural development. At the current stage, the above-mentioned orientation and policy should be institutionalized and solidified into practical and visionary policies and laws, geared towards removing barriers, stimulating creativity, unleashing production potential, improving competitiveness, and providing significant impetus for cultural development.
